Brantley's Buddies

United by a love for the game and a passion for making a difference, the Brantley's Buddies Golf Classic tees off against Cystic Fibrosis, raising vital funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to support groundbreaking research, life-saving therapies, and unwavering hope for Brantley and the entire CF community.

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. It is progressive, meaning that it gets worse over time. Common symptoms are mucus clogs and bacterial infections in the lungs, the pancreas cannot produce digestive enzymes which help the body absorb key nutrients in food, and mucus can block the bile duct in the liver causing liver failure. 

There are close to 40,000 children and adults living with CF in the US. Because CF can mutate differently in each person, finding 1 cure or treatment is extremely difficult. Each case is slightly different. There have been several promising treatments, but until there is a universal cure, our work is not finished.
