Brantley was diagnosed a few days after he was born. A routine sweat test was conducted and found some abnormalities in the results. The coming months were a lot of tests, tears, and prayers as Adam and Logan came to understand what CF was and what it would mean for Brantley. B-man has a very rare mutation of CF. It is still too early to tell the full extent of his mutation, but every new treatment must be tested to see how it impacts his specific form of CF. 

When you meet Brantley, Cystic Fibrosis is the LAST thing you'd think of. He is a massive fan of dinosaurs, baseball, and playing with his brother (and best friend) Rylan. The biggest things that impact his day-to-day life are when he eats and when he's doing anything super physical. Before he eats, he has to take enzymes to help with digestion. Then he has to be monitored really closely whenever he's playing outside to make sure he doesn't get over heated or doesn't drink enough water. Other than that, he is 100% boy and absolutely loves life.
